This study examines archival materials, pertinent literary sources, and fifteen interviews in order to understand the impact on the Africa Evangelical Church (AEC) by its founding body, the South Africa General Mission/Africa Evangelical Fellowship (AEF). It also explores the possible contributions that both the Mission and the Church could make to their continued growth as they move together into the 21st century.
